Hey! I'm Charlotte van Dixhoorn and made this website. I was 15 years old and a student at the American International School, here in Lusaka, Zambia. Today, despite studying at a University in the Netherlands, home still is in Lusaka, and I continue to update the site.

As a part of the Middle Years Program, the curriculum I followed at the school, I had to complete the task of creating a Personal Project. This is basically a creative piece showing your abilities as well as enabling you to express yourself. It combines a lot of what you learnt throughout your schooling along with your interests.

I wanted to create a web site which would inform people about what there is to do in Lusaka, as well as Zambia. I think this source of information can be very useful. I mainly focused it on teenagers, but hopefully the site is also accessible and practical for parents.

I've personally often been confronted with what to do, where to go out during weekends, as Arcades gets repetitive. Necessary information and schedules were also hard to find. This site provides information for alternative locations, general details, as well as news, and facts for foreigners/ new comers to Lusaka. It's an interactive sight enabling users to give their opinions, keeping it updated and fresh.

I hope the site will be helpful and entertaining for teenagers, adults, and even the companies themselves. Please contact me about comments you have or to report any problems. Also if you want to be added to the site, or have news, send me an e-mail at:

Thanks, enjoy the site, and hope to hear from you!
